The FPSO was only on an interim Class Certificate from DNV for over 12 months with the previous owner
Since taking over STAC has invested nearly 1.5 million manhours into the safe, efficient and uninterrupted operation of the FPSO.
Over 500,000 manhours were dedicated toward repairs, steel renewal, upgrades and maintenance of equipment which needed to be done.
In view of STAC completing extensive repairs and upgrade activities including steel renewal inside cargo and ballast tanks, DNV Class has shown confidence in the process and has awarded a Full-Term Class Certification with a validity of five years
